WHO I AM

My name is Yasmin Sarai Robinson and I'm currently living in San Jose, California with my husband Kurt and our baby girl Gwendolyn.

I’m a California girl with a penchant for sparkly things, a sweet tooth, and a passion for good theology. I enjoy warm sunshine, fresh flowers, hip-hop, and high heels. I love fashion, glitz, and glamour almost as much as I love a cozy night in with a good movie, sweatpants, and a big plate of nachos.

I am a photographer of life and love. I am a curator of bright, colorful, fun imagery that radiates joy, warmth, & beauty.

I love exploring the Bay Area, encouraging others to dream big, and celebrating life, complete with cupcakes & confetti. I am an artist at heart and my life is a reflection of my Creator, who is the source of my joy, love, and creativity.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I started blogging in 2012, shortly after I got married and decided to pursue photography.

My blog chronicles my creative journey and has helped me to connect with others. It is my online memory book and growth tracker. You'll quickly learn that I am a natural light photographer, obsessed with great branding and an attention to detail.

In addition to being a photographer, I am also a writer for Deeply Rooted Magazine, a cinematographer, and an artist. My hope is to inspire others through beautiful imagery, fun ideas, and honest thoughts.
